萨米·贝利（Sami Bayly）25岁，目前居住在新南威尔士州阿米代尔。她的处女作《丑陋动物插图百科全书》获得了年度儿童独立图书奖，澳大利亚图书设计奖，该书被授予CBCA Eve Pownall荣誉奖，入围ABIA年度小读者图书奖，入围ABA Bookseller 2020年度精选图书奖。她的第二本书《危险动物插图百科全书》入围年度儿童独立图书奖，CBCA Eve Pownall奖，以及ABIA年度小读者图书奖。两本书均在多个国家出版，包括英国、美国、俄罗斯等。
