温达•舒尔提（Wenda Shurety）出生于英国伦敦，在景色优美的诺福克长大。她在大学学习细胞生物学专业，毕业之后先后在纽约和澳大利亚工作。成为一个妈妈后，她逐渐爱上了为儿童写故事，她认为这是世界上最棒的工作了，她最擅长写关于大自然与想象力的故事。温达很喜欢把一个想法精雕细琢创作出来的过程，她希望可以让每一个读到她故事的小孩子都洋溢着微笑。温达现在和丈夫、女儿还有两只狗狗生活在澳大利亚布里斯班。
哈丽特•霍伯戴伊（Harriet Hobday）硕士毕业于剑桥艺术学院童书插画专业，现在是东约克夏郡的一名自由插画师。她主要为儿童非虚构和绘本创作插画。她曾获得许多奖项：
