Heart of Hawick Children's Book Awards winners 2017
We had a fabulous Birthday Party celebrating 10 years of bringing the joy of reading to all schools in Hawick and surrounding areas. The day was celebrated with six of our eight nominated authors. Our thanks go to Huw, Maya, Paul, Nick, Nico and Richard who travelled from far and wide to attend the ceremony. But, now that the candles have been blown out, cake eaten and all visiting authors have safely returned home we can announce the winners in both Junior Fiction and Picture Book categories.
