As with Sjeng Scheijen, we would just like to flag that the Icelandic Literature Centre provides translation grants, distributing a total of €600,000 annually. We discussed Hallgrimur at the Fair and they were very open to providing increased grants for SIXTY KILOS OF SUNSHINE, not least given that it won this year’s Icelandic Literature Prize (regarding this, there is a nice article on their website, here).
