艾丽卡-约翰森 （Erika Johansen）在旧金山湾区长大。她曾就读于爱荷华作家工作坊，并获得艺术硕士学位，后成为一名律师，但从未停止写作。她的处女作是国际畅销书The Queen of the Tearling，也是该小说系列中的第一部，之后又出版了广受赞誉的The Invasion of the Tearling、The Fate of the Tearling和前传Beneath the Keep。艾丽卡现居英格兰。
