大卫•达姆罗施（David Damrosch）是哈佛大学世界文学研究所所长，也是比较文学系的欧内斯特•伯恩鲍姆文学教授（Ernest Bernbaum Professor）。他的著作包括《叙事契约：圣经文学发展中的体裁转变》（The Narrative Covenant: Transformations of Genre in the Growth of Biblical Literature）（1987年出版）、《我们学者：改变大学文化》（We Scholars: Changing the Culture of the University）（1995年出版）、《什么是世界文学？》（What is World Literature?）（2003年出版），《埋葬之书：吉尔伽美什史诗的失传与重现》（The Buried Book: The Loss and Rediscovery of the Great Epic of Gilgamesh）（2007年出版），《如何阅读世界文学》（How to Read World Literature）（2017年第2版）。
