作者介绍
詹姆斯·莱西（James Lacey）是马修·霍纳少将战争研究讲座教授（Major General Matthew C. Horner Chair of War Studies），也是海军陆战队战争学院（Marine Corps War College）战略研究和政治经济学教授。他之前的著作包括《华盛顿战争：罗斯福的核心集团和赢得第二次世界大战的权力政治》（The Washington War: FDR's Inner Circle and the Politics of Power that Won World War II）和《第一次冲突：希腊马拉松的奇迹胜利及其对西方文明的影响》（The First Clash: The Miraculous Greek Victory at Marathon and Its Impact on Western Civilization）；与威廉森·默里（Williamson Murray）合著《战神：历史上最伟大的军事对手》（Gods of War: History's Greatest Military Rivals）和《激战时刻：改变世界的20场战争》（Moment of Battle: The Twenty Clashes that Changed the World）；他还是《伟大的战略较量：从古典世界到冷战时期》（Great Strategic Rivalries: From the Classical World to the Cold War）一书的编辑。
