作者介绍

丽贝卡·斯特拉瑟斯（Rebecca Struthers）是伯明翰的制表师和历史学家，住在斯塔福德郡。2012年，她在伯明翰的珠宝区创立了自己的工作室Struthers Watchmakers。丽贝卡和她的制表师丈夫克雷格（Craig）使用传统设备和工匠技术来修复古董表和制作定制手表。他们是英国为数不多从头开始制作手表的制表商之一。2017年，丽贝卡成为英国历史上第一位获得钟表学博士学位的制表师。

除了在斯特拉瑟斯制表公司的工作，丽贝卡还是英国钟表研究所（British Horological Institute）的研究员，传统工艺协会的可持续技能大使（Sustainable Skills Ambassador for the Association of Heritage Engineers）、皇家艺术学会（Royal Society of Arts）的研究员、伯明翰大学荣誉研究员、工艺各党派议会小组成员、日内瓦钟表大奖赛评委和学院成员等。Ins:www.instagram.com
