作者介绍
Matthew Engel （马修·恩格尔）新闻记者、写作者。他长期为《卫报》（the Guardian）、《金融时报》（Financial Times），以及其他出版物撰稿，也曾在《威斯登集团板球运动年鉴》（the Wisden Cricketers' Almanack）做了十二年主编。他同时是一名棒球爱好者。他出版的作品有：《最后的11分钟：通往英国灵魂的旅程》（Eleven Minutes Late: A Train Journey to the Soul of Britain）,《红色笔记本手记》（ Extracts from the Red Notebooks），《恩格尔的英格兰：39个城镇》（Engel's England: Thirty-nine Counties），《一座首都，一个人》（One Capital and One Man）.
