Dear All,
As I had the pleasure of sharing with you, Dan Brown’s US and UK publishers will be releasing a Young Adult Edition of DVC in September of this year, before release of the movie version of Inferno this June. We have long been discussing ways of reaching a younger audience with Dan’s books, the same audience that enthusiastically embraced DVC when it was first published 13 years ago. Finally, just a few weeks ago, we set to work on it and the children’s divisions of both publishers stepped up in a big way, helping to reduce the original book length from 148,000 words to 88,000 words. We feel it will help develop a new generation of readers for Dan’s books and this edition will have lots of support, including Teachers and Readers Guides.
