We’re delighted to finally be able to confirm that CELL 7 has been optioned to Imperative Entertainment.
Imperative is a bit of a new kid on the block but enormously energetic and creative. It is the collaboration of Heroes creator Tim Kring, Blacklight founder Zak Kadison, and Farrelly brothers producer Bradley Thomas. Essentially, they are deeply respected names in the industry. The company aims to create "multi-platform" movies, and they have been aiming for more interesting, less blockbuster ideas, which is perfect for the novel.
Their first significant book signing was E Lockhart’s international blockbuster WE WERE LIARS when they were up against many other bidders but clinched the deal because of their vision and commitment.
