Stephen King‘s UNDER THE DOME will be coming to US television as a TV series in the summer of 2013, produced by Steven Spielberg. CBS has taken an initial order of 13 episodes. Niels Arden Oplev, (THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO) is slated to direct the first episode, which will air onJune 24thin the states. The plot of the novel will serve as an underpinning for the series, which may go in slightly different directions from the events of the novel. This is, of course, very exciting news!
