Good news！ Peter Watson’s The Great Divide：History and Human Nature in the Old Worldand the New has been selected as one of the 2012 Core Collections Star titles.This is an award given by 'eminent and scholarly librarians' to works which are deemed 'of literary excellence', 'distinguished contributions' in their field, 'significant achievements', and 'highly recommended' as 'must purchases' for 10,000 libraries in the US. The awards have been published since 1918.
